Past Security
Every gate area at PHX is smoke-free, and the lounges — American’s Admirals Club, the Delta Sky Club, and The Centurion Lounge — are smoke-free as well. To smoke after screening you exit the secure area to one of the marked outdoor areas at your terminal and pass back through TSA to return to your gate. Re-screening can take 15 to 30 minutes at peak times, so weigh that against your boarding time.
