Yes, you can smoke at Kaohsiung Airport (KHH) at designated outdoor areas outside both terminals, all of them landside and before security. As of 1 January 2025 the entire interior of both terminals is fully smoke-free, so there is no indoor or airside smoking room here.

International Terminal
- Level 1: east-side large-bus parking area
- Level 1: west-side underpass
- Level 3: east-side flower-bed area (added February 2025)
- Level 3: west-side flower-bed area (added February 2025)
Domestic Terminal
- East-side parking lot
- West-side passenger parking lot
Once you pass through security at either terminal, there is no smoking area, so plan to smoke before you head airside.
Vaping
E-cigarettes and vapes are illegal nationwide in Taiwan, so you cannot vape anywhere at Kaohsiung Airport. Carrying, using, or selling them can lead to fines and confiscation.
