Yes, OR Tambo (JNB) has several airside smoking options — the 360sqm Dunhill Smoking Lounge on the Terminal A (International) mezzanine with full food and beverage service, Lounge 27 on the upper floor, the Mashonzha Lounge beside the Emirates Business Lounge, the Piece A Pizza restaurant towards gates A5-A30, and a designated airside smoking area that closes at 8 p.m. Terminal B (Domestic) adds smoking inside the SAA Lounge and the Airport Craft Brewers restaurant across from Gate D4; most lounges and restaurant sections require a purchase or lounge access. Landside, there are designated outdoor smoking areas outside the terminals on the forecourt. As Africa’s busiest airport, JNB restricts smoking to these designated spaces, and no one under 18 may enter them.

Mashonzha Lounge – Separate smoking area inside the lounge, airside after immigration: follow the signage to the Emirates Business Lounge through duty free, and at the top of the escalators turn left. Open 06:00 to 22:00, on Priority Pass or paid entry.
Piece A Pizza – Smoking section inside the restaurant, in front of the small Big 5 duty free on the way to gates A5-A30. Purchase required.
