Yes, Cape Town International (CPT) has a dedicated Smokers’ Lounge airside in international departures — located after passport control, opposite Icons restaurant, just before the stairs to the B gates, with internet access and strong air extraction (reopened April 2022). The Bidvest Lounge adds a paid indoor smoking area, and domestic travelers have designated outdoor areas. As the main gateway to the Western Cape and South Africa’s second-busiest airport, CPT keeps the rest of its terminals smoke-free under South African law.
Smoking Policy at Cape Town Airport
