Yes, you can smoke at Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport (BEG) — at the designated outdoor points just outside the terminal entrances, on the landside forecourt. Light up before you clear security; the terminal interior is smoke-free.
Belgrade Nikola Tesla is Serbia’s main international gateway and the hub of Air Serbia, handling almost all of the country’s scheduled traffic. The former Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 now sit under one combined, expanded roof, fed by a single central security and passport-control checkpoint on the first (departures) floor. Plan any cigarette around that checkpoint, because once you are past it there is nowhere inside to smoke.
Where to Smoke at Belgrade Airport
Smoking at BEG is outdoors and landside only. Step out through the departures or arrivals doors to the marked smoking points on the forecourt outside the terminal entrances — that is the one place you are cleared to light up. Both the check-in hall and the arrivals level open straight onto these outdoor areas, so they are easy to reach on the way in or right after you land.
Past the checkpoint the airport spans two joined gate areas — Gate Area A (gates A1–A10) and Gate Area C (gates C1–C14) — and neither has a smoking room. Everything beyond central security is enclosed and smoke-free.
Smoking After Security (Airside)
There is no airside smoking room at Belgrade.
