Nizhnevartovsk Airport Smoking Policy
Nizhnevartovsk Airport is a busy federal-significance airport serving the oil region of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, with around 700,000 passengers a year. It has two terminals: a two-floor domestic terminal (T1) and a single-floor international terminal (T2). A major reconstruction is under way (2023 onward), so the terminal layout will change as it completes.
No indoor smoking room is listed among the facilities of either terminal, so plan to smoke outdoors before security, keeping clear of the entrances. After the security check there is no documented smoking facility, so light up beforehand if you need to.
