Anapa Airport Smoking Policy
Anapa Airport has been closed to civilian flights since 24 February 2022 as one of several southern Russian airports under temporary airspace restrictions. As of 2026 it remains closed, with a possible reopening discussed but not confirmed. Verify the airport’s status before planning a trip.
Anapa’s terminal opened in 2017, but no indoor smoking room is confirmed there, and with the airport closed there are no current passenger reports. Russian law has permitted isolated, ventilated indoor smoking rooms in airports since the 2020 amendment, yet there is no evidence Anapa installed one — expect to smoke outdoors near the entrance.
