Yes, you can smoke at Katowice Airport (KTW) in three smoking rooms, all on the ground floor: after security in Terminal A (non-Schengen departures) and Terminal B (Schengen departures), and in the Terminal C arrivals baggage hall. The airport forbids smoking outside designated places.

Terminal B — Schengen Departures
Terminal B handles Schengen departures. Security and Gates 10–15 are on the first floor; the smoking room is downstairs, on the ground floor at the Gate 25 end of the Gates 16–25 row. Travellers described it next to Gate 25 in January 2022 and August 2024.
Terminal A — Non-Schengen Departures
Terminal A handles non-Schengen departures from its ground floor. Its smoking room is after security, beside the baby-care room between Gates 6–9 and Gates 1–5; in September 2018 travellers described turning left after security to reach it next to Gate 6.
Terminal C — Arrivals
Terminal C, the main arrivals terminal, has a smoking room inside the baggage hall, after passport control, between the first two carousels. In May 2026 travellers described smoking there as they waited for their luggage. Terminal C is being enlarged until mid-2027, baggage hall included, so ask staff if you cannot find the room. The airport marks no smoking room in Terminal D, opened in June 2024 for some Schengen charter arrivals, so ask staff there.
Before Security (Landside)
Katowice Airport forbids smoking on its grounds outside designated places, and its terminal maps mark none outside the terminals, so ask staff where you may smoke before security.
Vaping
Katowice Airport publishes no vaping rule, so ask staff before you vape. The airport’s Business Lounges ban smoking.
