Bohol–Panglao International Airport (TAG) is entirely smoke-free — no indoor, airside, or outdoor smoking area is documented anywhere on the property, so smokers should plan their last cigarette before arriving at the airport grounds.
TAG is Bohol’s main gateway, a single two-level terminal on Panglao Island.
Inside the Terminal
The terminal is smoke-free throughout, in the public concourse, at the gates and in any lounge space. No facility guide describes a smoking room or designated indoor spot anywhere in the building.
Outside the Terminal and the Car Park
A traveller named Kim, reviewing the airport on the smoking-focused travel site airportsmokers.com in November 2019, reported that there is no smoking area inside or outside the terminal, and that airport security specifically warned against smoking even in the parking lot at that time. No newer report has been found. A facility guide covering the terminal’s lounge, Wi-Fi, dining, baby-care room and shops likewise makes no mention of a smoking area. Treat the whole property — forecourt, car park and terminal alike — as smoke-free, and smoke before you arrive at the airport grounds.
Vaping
No smoking or vaping area is documented anywhere on TAG’s property, so treat an e-cigarette exactly like a cigarette. Vapes and heated-tobacco products remain legal to carry nationwide under Republic Act 11900, the Vaporized Nicotine and Non-Nicotine Products Regulation Act (2022); pack a device and e-liquids in your hand luggage, with no spot on site to use them.
