Yes, you can smoke at Godofredo P. Ramos Airport (MPH) — also called Caticlan Airport or Boracay Airport — outside the departures building, landside, where Philippine law permits smoking in the open air. The terminal interior itself is smoke-free.
MPH is the closer of Boracay’s two gateway airports and is mid-construction on a permanent terminal. Until it opens, the airport runs on a split arrangement: the original terminal at Caticlan, in the municipality of Malay, handles departures, and a separate interim building near Nabas handles arrivals. San Miguel Corporation’s Trans Aire Development Holdings Corporation operates the airport under a concession from owner CAAP.
