After security the only smoking area the airport lists is inside the Prima Vista Lounge on the second floor, reached after the security checks on the first floor and signed on the left before the shops, which sells entry to the smoking area alone for €10 and is open 05:30 to 21:00 daily; the airport publishes no separate hours for the smoking area and none for the outdoor areas, so ask staff. Italian law lets a terminal keep a smoking room that meets its ventilation rules (Legge 16 gennaio 2003, n. 3, article 51).

After security: the Prima Vista Lounge
The airport lists one smoking area after security, inside the Prima Vista Lounge on the second floor of the terminal, which you reach after the security checks on the first floor by following the sign on the left just before the shops. The lounge is open 05:30 to 21:00 daily; entry to the smoking area alone costs €10, the whole lounge €30 for an adult and €15 for a child aged 2 to 14, free under two, with a family ticket for two adults and two children at €65. Travellers described the smoking area in August 2026 as a separate room with a door taking up about half of the lounge, reached by turning left after security while the gates and shops are to the right, and in August 2024 as a semi-outdoor space. The airport publishes no separate hours for the smoking area and lists no other smoking area after security, so ask staff if the lounge is closed; if there is none, you leave the secure area to smoke outside and clear security again afterwards.
