Yes, Jaipur International Airport (JAI) has designated smoking zones for both domestic and international passengers. The main one is on the 2nd floor of the departure area near the food outlets and Starbucks. Below are the exact locations.
Departure Area Smoking Zones (After Security)
Jaipur runs two terminals — Terminal 1 handles international flights (Dubai, Sharjah, Bangkok, Singapore, Muscat) and Terminal 2 handles domestic flights — and the airside smoking zones sit in the departure area on the upper level.
2nd Floor, near the Food Outlets (Starbucks)
The primary smoking room is on the 2nd floor of the departure area, by the food outlets. Travelers commonly describe it as the room next to Starbucks, just before the restrooms. It is the most-used smoking spot at JAI and is reachable after you clear security.
Near Boarding Gate 2 (Duty-Free)
A second designated smoking area is located in the departure zone near Boarding Gate 2, beside the Duty-Free store. It is convenient if you are boarding from the lower gates and want to skip the walk back to the 2nd-floor room.
Security Holding Area
Jaipur also has designated smoking zones on the ground floor and first floor of the Security Holding Area, so you have an option close to the gates while you wait to board. If you cannot find a zone, ask your airline ground staff or the terminal information desk for the nearest current spot.
