Yes, Bangalore Airport (BLR) has multiple indoor smoking rooms after security in both terminals. Terminal 2 has a smoking room in Connecting Corridor 1 near Gate C3, while Terminal 1 has rooms on the 1st floor near the 080 Lounge opposite Gate 12, opposite Gate 35, and opposite Gate 40. Outdoor smoking areas and kerbside cabins are also available.
Flying long-haul from Bangalore usually means a Gulf or Asia connection, so it is worth knowing where to smoke during a Dubai layover before you fly.
Smoking Zone in Bangalore Airport Terminal 2 (T2)
Terminal 2 is the newer terminal at Kempegowda International Airport and handles both domestic and international flights. T2 has dedicated smoking zones after security that are well-maintained and easy to find.
Smoking Area After Security in T2
In the international departures section, the main smoking room is in Connecting Corridor 1 (CC1) near Gate C3. Follow the signs towards the prayer room and baby changing facilities — the smoking room is on the left. It is a full-sized room with built-in cigarette lighters, tables, and bar stool seating. There is also a smaller indoor smoking pod nearby that fits 4-5 people. T2 also has a large outdoor smoking area after security, to the left of the walkway leading to gates C1-C6 and D1-D13, that can accommodate around 100 people and provides lighting devices. This post-security open-air zone is consistently praised by travellers in our Airport Smoking community (see Community Photos below) — repeatedly described as refreshing, spacious, and one of the nicest open smoking areas at any Indian airport. If you appreciate an open-air smoke after security, you are in good company abroad too — Singapore’s Changi Airport is famous for its beautiful open-air smoking areas after security.
In the domestic departures section of T2, the smoking area is an open-air zone opposite Bus Gate 18 — widely considered one of the most beautifully designed airport smoking areas in the world, with lush greenery, flowering plants, trees and comfortable seating that feels more like a garden patio than an airport facility.

Terminal 1 at Bangalore Airport has multiple indoor smoking rooms and outdoor smoking cabins spread across departures and arrivals.
Smoking Rooms After Security in T1
The primary smoking room in T1 is on the 1st floor, next to the 080 Lounge opposite Gate 12. Take the escalator up past the shops and turn right — the smoking room is between the lounge and the business centre. A cigarette shop is located right next to it, making this the most convenient spot for smokers in Terminal 1.

Smoking Room at Arrivals in T1
At the T1 arrival level, there is a smoking cabin located after the last arrival terminal exit, behind the Left Luggage shop past Chai Point. This is an outdoor cabin, so no need to worry about stepping outside after a long flight.
Outside Terminal 1
There is a smoking cabin right outside the T1 departure entrance near Mayiaas restaurant.
The largest outdoor smoking area at Bangalore Airport is in the Restaurant/Flea Market zone outside the terminals, next to pubs and bars like Windmill Craft. This is the most spacious and comfortable smoking area, with a cigarette shop (smoke shop) right next to it near Cafe Coffee Day (CCD) where you can buy cigarettes before entering the terminal (Google Maps Location):

The Quad by BLR

International Terminal Smoking Areas
Smoking areas are available inside the international terminal at Bangalore Airport. Look for designated smoking room signage after clearing immigration and security.
