Yes, Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) has indoor smoking rooms in all three terminals, available after security. Terminal 2E has the most options near the L, M, and K gates. Terminal 1 has rooms on Levels 2 and 4, and Terminal 2B-2D has an indoor smoking room near Gate 50D. Follow the orange smoking signs throughout the airport.
Smoking Areas at Paris CDG Airport
CDG provides both pre-security and post-security smoking areas across every terminal. Look for the orange smoking signs that mark these areas throughout the airport.
Terminal 1 Smoking Areas
Pre-Security (Level 2):
- Two smoking areas at Level 2 near the CDGVAL station, next to Starbucks in the center of the building
Post-Security (Level 4):
Take the moving sidewalk to gates 50-58, then turn right to find the smoking area
Non-Schengen area on the third floor next to the Star Alliance Lounge
Terminal 2 Smoking Areas
Terminal 2B-2D:
- Indoor smoking room directly behind La Table de Michel Roth restaurant, next to gate 50D (as of May 2025)
Terminal 2C:
- Smoking area across from McDonald’s, between gates C80/C81 and gates C82/C83
Terminal 2E - L Gates:
Medium-sized smoking area beside gate L31 (as of April 2025)
Smoking areas next to gates L41, L45, and L51 in the same corner
Terminal 2E - M Gates:
- Two smoking rooms at the far end of the pier near gates M50 and M31
Terminal 2E - K Gates:
Smoking area opposite Gate K47
Smoking area at gate K31
Terminal 2F:
Downstairs near gate F21 (confirmed March 2024) - large signage makes it easy to find
Gate area F47-56: smoking room downstairs across from the restrooms
Terminal 2G:
- Smoking area in the main waiting/store area, at the far end away from the gate area
Terminal 3 Smoking Areas
Near Gate 11 - accessible through Pret A Manger Cafe after security (as of January 2025)
