In December 2024, when the Federation’s enclosed-space ban reached the airport, it said its services were preparing a smoking area meeting the law’s technical conditions, and it has published nothing about one since. Travellers described a small smoking room just past the duty-free shop with a no-smoking sign on its door in December 2024, and a smoking room near gate 3 in Terminal B in September 2026, so ask staff whether one is open. The business-class lounge on the first floor of the new part of Terminal B, after passport control, lists no smoking facility.

Business Class Lounge II terrace

The Business Class Lounge II, on the second floor of Terminal B, has a terrace overlooking the airfield where the airport allows smoking, the one smoking place the airport names inside its complex. Entry is 50 BAM plus VAT for business-class passengers and 60 BAM plus VAT for walk-in guests, for three hours at most; the airport publishes no opening hours and does not say which side of passport control the lounge is on, so ask staff the way from your gate.

Heated tobacco: the IQOS Lounge

The airport opened an IQOS Lounge beside the duty-free shop on 15 May 2026, open daily from 10:00 to 20:00 for adult users of heated-tobacco products; no devices or products are sold there, and the airport does not say that cigarettes or e-cigarettes may be used in it.
