Yes, you can smoke at Yerevan Zvartnots International Airport (EVN). Zvartnots is Armenia’s sole international gateway, handling essentially all of the country’s scheduled passenger traffic from Yerevan. Armenia tightened its indoor-smoking rules in 2022, and the practical detail for travellers is the carve-out: airports are explicitly exempt, which is why the terminal keeps working indoor smoking options after security alongside the outdoor spots before the checkpoint.
Smoking After Security (Airside)
The best-known airside option is the smoking room inside the Converse Bank Business Lounge, on the 3rd floor directly above the duty-free shop, after passport control. Smoking is permitted in a designated part of the lounge, which also has food, drinks, showers and Wi-Fi. This is paid or membership access rather than a free public smoking point: you enter with a Priority Pass, DragonPass or LoungeKey membership, a business-class boarding pass, or a paid walk-in of roughly 25,000 AMD booked online and 30,000 AMD at the door.
