Yes, you can smoke at Yerevan Zvartnots Airport (EVN). There is a designated indoor smoking room airside inside the Converse Bank Business Lounge, and designated outdoor smoking areas landside before security.
Zvartnots is Armenia’s sole international gateway. Armenia’s 2022 indoor-smoking ban explicitly exempts airports, so the terminal keeps a working smoking room airside along with outdoor areas before the security checkpoint.
Where to Smoke
The airside indoor option is a designated smoking room inside the Converse Bank Business Lounge, located on the 3rd floor above duty-free after passport control. This is paid or membership access, not free public airside smoking: you enter with a Priority Pass, DragonPass or LoungeKey membership, or pay a walk-in fee of roughly 25,000–30,000 AMD. National guidance points to this business-lounge area as the airport’s smoking area.
Landside, there are designated outdoor smoking areas just outside the terminals, before security and passport control. These are open to all passengers at no charge.
Vaping
Armenia’s 2022 law restricts e-cigarettes, heated-tobacco products and hookah in indoor venues the same way as cigarettes, and airports are exempt. Use the lounge smoking room airside or the designated outdoor areas landside.
